Gary Blankenship of Valdosta and Playing the Race Card! (George Boston Rhynes)

The Honorable Gary Blankenship wrote:  Once again we have someone trying to play the RACE CARD because Barak Obama is getting criticized, October 13, 2009------Comments Off.

POSTED ON 92.1 RADIO STATION WEB SITE.  THE HONORABLE SCOTT JAMES COMMENTS WERE TURNED OFF.  THEREFORE I AM SURE HE WANTED ME TO RESPOND TO THIS AMERICAN PATRIOT AND FOLLOWING MR. BLANKENSHIP----I RESPOND!

Once again we have someone playing the race card simply because Barak Obama is finally being scrutinized. Apparently racism only exists against blacks.  If not, I could just as easily claim that George Bush received all his criticism because he is white.  Of course, both would be wrong.

Mr. George Boston Rhynes states that Obama is due our respect because he is “executive commander and chief of the armed forces”.  I can agree with that.  So shouldn’t everyone (Especially Obama- along with all democrats, the liberal media, and Hollywood) have shown the same respect to Bush?  Where have you been, Mr. Rhynes, for the past eight years?  The last two years of the Bush administration really disappointed me, yet I continue to find myself defending him.  If Mr. Rhynes wants to criticize Bush about immigration, I’ll gladly join him, but don’t continue to make up lies and misquotes about Bush just as you did about me in a blog on the Internet a couple of years ago.

Barak Obama continues to take the low road and to this day can’t make a speech without finding a way to say something negative about Bush, while ‘W’ maintains the high road.  But one thing is for sure.  Barak Obama will go down in history as one of the worst, most corrupt presidents while it will show Bush was one of the strongest and possibly greatest presidents ever, and it has nothing to do with race.  It will also show that Bush kept America safe for eight years, with zero support from the Democrats, the media, or the rest of the ‘panty waist’ countries of the world.

How long before Mr. Rhynes, Mr. Rose, and others will call the IOC racist because they rejected Barak, Michelle, and Oprah?  This just enlightens you as who the real racist are.

October 13, 2009:

MR. BLANKENSHIP WAS CRITICAL OF THOSE STRUGGLING TO BRING CHANGE TO VALDOSTA AND LOWNDES COUNTY GEORGIA ON 92.1 RADIO TALK STATION WEB SITE.  SINCE THE COMMENTS SECTION WAS DOWN AND I COULD NOT ACCESS IT.  I CREATED THIS BLOG TO RESPOND TO HIS COMMENTS ABOUT ME.

November 14, 2009

My Response:

Mr. Blankenship thanks for your comments about me, (George Boston Rhynes), Rev. Rose, and other White Right people. I will speak for myself, and the others you mentioned are (Extremely) capable of speaking for themselves.

Keep spreading your (TRUTH) heart felt love for your fellow Americans.  Moreover I pray that your views will stand the test of time, and not END up, as tiny footnotes on the bottom pages of history like so many others.  That found themselves on the wrong side of history.

Peace, love, and understanding always.

November 15, 2009, Ha!  Is this also, playing the Race Card?

The Valdosta Daily Times published their support of school consolidation on November 15, 2009, and asked “Who knows how many business and industrial opportunities have been lost because prospective interests have seen our situation of two schools systems, one predominately White, one predominately Black, and concluded Valdosta-Lowndes County is a Southern through-back to segregation?”

It is believed that our local television and newspaper have contributed to our metropolitan cities being behind other cities in the State of Georgia by their refusal to publish cutting edge stories to the general public.  The following unpublished items from the Valdosta City School Board pf Education Meeting  is a perfect of omissions in our beloved community.

(1) That only thirty-minutes were allocated for citizens to be heard,

(2) It is difficult to get on the School Board Agenda to speak.

(3) Only thirty-two seats are available in a city with a population of 48,000

(4) Valdosta City Fire Codes could have been broken by over crowded room.

(5) Hallways and lobby were blocked.

(6) Seats place down both sides of each isle.

(7) Only one side of the front doors was unlocked.

(8) People sitting in front of board members on the floor.

(9) That citizen had a right to know of all public meetings.

(10) No speaker system available for citizens to hear what was going on at the meeting.

(11) Former School Superintendent Walker picture was sill NOT displayed.

(12) 120 citizens attended meeting but only thirty-two seats were available.

(13) 473 citizens attended previous meeting but only thirty-two seats were available for the general public and the press at a public meeting in the State of Georgia.

(14) Two letters to the Board of Education requesting a larger facility be made available but not even a courteous reply was received from elected officials.

Lastly:  Should local news media be concerned about the safety and if public meetings are made available to the general public in the State of Georgia?

Is this also, playing the Race Card?  If so, who?

“THE VALDOTA CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM”

The Valdosta City School System is approximately 80 percent black in Title Town U.S.A.  But the following exists in Valdosta City School System!  We can only ask WHY?

1.    The City School Superintendent is WHITE.
2.    The Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning is WHITE.
3.    The Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations is WHITE.
4.    The Curriculum Director for grades Pre-K-5 is WHITE.
5.    The Curriculum Director for grades 6-12 is WHITE.

7.    The Head of Human Resources is WHITE.
8.    The Administrative Secretary is WHITE.
9.    The Director of Title 1 is WHITE.
10.    The Director of Title 11, is WHITE.
11.    The Director of Title 111 is WHITE.

18.    The head football coach is WHITE.
19.    The names of all schools that bear somebody’s name except one is WHITE.
20.    The receptionist is WHITE.
21.    The ultimate authority that our children face, the Juvenile judge, is WHITE.
22.    Five out of 9 school board members are WHITE.  Even though 80 percent of the students are Black.  (The question is raised to the casual observer that the district lines have been gerrymandered to insure that whites would always control the education of black children).
23.    With every position of authority, perceived and real, is occupied by whites, in a school district that is approximately 80 percent black.

-   Then out of 23 Department Heads in Valdosta-Lowndes County.  There are only three Department Heads that are Black African American in a city that is 52-55 percent Black.  Why is this?

-  We will soon know HOW many CONTRACTS and HOW MUCH money have been paid to Black African Americans and OTHER citizens in our beloved community.  This too should be interesting.  Hopefully, we all will SOON see who those terms are applicable to in TRUTH.  Again, thanks for your comments and concerns.

Playing the Race Card, Continues.....(More to Come)

November 9, 2009

TO:  Public Address to VALDOSTA CITY SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION:  By: George Boston Rhynes

1. Apparently my TWO letters, requesting a larger facility----were trashed. Therefore Georgia Tax Paying Citizens were denied the right to attend this Public Meeting---held in the State of Georgia.

a. 473 people showed up HERE---previously: But only 32 seats were available then, and NOW! This Board REMINDS me of THE old Valdosta City Charter of 1860 that was removed from City Hall in 2004. But NOT, WITHOUT A FIGHT from our elected officials.

It read, in Article 100, Section XI, “THAT THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL, SHALL PASS ALL PROPER, AND NECESSARY LAWS, AND ORDINANCES, FOR THE CONTROL OF SLAVES, AND FREE PERSONS OF COLOR, IN SAID TOWN, AND SUPPRESS, AND ABATE ALL NUISANCES, ARRIVING FROM HOGS, DOGS, HORSES, OR OTHER STOCK, STRAYING AT LARGE IN SAID TOWN, OR FROM OTHER CAUSES.”

2. Superintendent and Board Members, thirty-two (32) seats are UNACCEPTABLE in 2009. Local Tax Paying Citizens refuses to be CONTROL and SUPPRESS without Civil Litigation if need be-----for the good of our community.

3. Should Board Meetings be conducted without notifying news media, and the general public? In April 2009, was such a meeting conducted, and called a RETREAT? If so, where was this meeting located? What was the purpose this meeting? What was the outcome? And does the public have a right to know?

4. The Lowndes County Board of Commissioners, Valdosta City Council, and County School Board of Education has meetings, and RETREATS. They published their MEETINGS. What makes the Valdosta City School Board Meetings so DIFFERRENT?

5. If there is a requirement for School Superintendents to be evaluated annually. Why have this School Board failed to EVALUATE Dr. Cason? And are Board members following their OATH of OFFICE by not complying with Georgia School Board Association------if this is a requirement?

6. Superintendent Cason! Should not all board members be blamed for denying intercity school children to watch the PRESIDENT’S speech on live television----instead of just YOU?

7. Lastly: Valdosta is NOW a Metropolitan City and cannot be SEEN as operating under an OLD 1860 Valdosta City Charter. The days of controlling and suppressing are long gone, never to return. The operation of public Schools cannot CONTINUE to operate from those in and among the clicks, slicks and the special picks.

8. I request a response in writing to my questions and I am providing each of you with a copy for that purpose. I thank you!
